I'm Not Dead!!!

Dear Readers:

For those of you who’ve wondered if I moved abroad, went on sabbatical, or died…I’m here to tell you that I’m alive and well! It’s been over one month since anything has been posted on The Lunch Belle, and with very good reason:

  • The internet connection in my apartment died for three days.
  • After that, I was in Paris for a week.
  • Upon my return, the motherboard on my laptop died and I had to wait another week for it to be replaced.
  • Once the motherboard was replaced, I learned that all of the data on my computer would be lost due to a software issue (a.k.a. virus).
  • After losing 2 years of my life post-data dump, my internet connection STILL was not working.
  • I waited a week (today is the day!) for trusty Time Warner Cable to come and replace my router.

After losing so much in such a small amount of time, I came to the following conclusion: I will NEVER buy another Dell computer for as long as I live! Everyone I spoke with on tech support was a stupid, unhelpful, passive-aggressive LIFE RUINER!

There are various new restaurants that I’ve tried in NYC prior to my absence, and a wonderful report of my favorite cafes/sweet shops in Paris. So, without further ado, please scroll down and fill yourselves in on what The Lunch Belle has been up to this past month. It’s great to be back!
