I'm back!

Dear Readers,

First and foremost, Happy New Year!  I hope that you enjoyed the holiday season and that these first four days of 2010 have been extra kind to you.

From December 12th through the 28th, I traveled through Ecuador (the Galapagos Islands for one week, plus a short stint in Quito) and Peru (Cusco, Machu Picchu and Lima).  With computer in tow, I figured that I'd be able to update this site from each location; but at the end of the day, the internet connections were slow and I was too relaxed and in holiday-mode to concentrate/focus.  Last Monday, I returned to NYC with a mere forty-eight hours to prepare for Caroline's (my sorority sister who hails from Houston, TX) impending four-night visit.

So with the excuses listed above (I find to be quite reasonable, thank you very much) that ultimately led to my month-long sabbatical, I'm here to officially reintroduce myself to reality!  And you know what?  It feels damn good to be back.

Please enjoy reading, viewing and catching up with The Lunch Belle!  Here's to a perfect (20)10!

xo, TLB
