Recipe: Cranberries with Orange, Rosemary and Cloves
The addition of the rosemary sprig during the boiling process adds a unique, savory twist on this traditional Thanksgiving/Christmas accoutrement.
Supplies/utensils needed for this recipe:
- Medium saucepan 
Ingredients:
Makes 8-10 servings
- 1 cup orange juice 
- 1 cup sugar 
- 12 oz. package fresh or frozen whole cranberries 
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary 
- 1 cinnamon stick 
Method:
- In a medium saucepan, combine orange juice and sugar. Bring to a boil. 
- Add cranberries and return to a boil. 
- Reduce heat and add 1 sprig of fresh rosemary, plus cinnamon stick. 
- Boil gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
- Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Remove rosemary sprig, but leave the cinnamon stick in sauce until you’re ready to serve. 
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
